• Okay, accountability post.
• I have invested in an item that I'm going to use for a physical therapy type exercise table. It's firmer than a bed but it's up off the floor so I can get up and get down without assistance from the fire/rescue.

I keep remembering certain little things from my teens - stuff other people may not even think about or remember, but little stuff I had a lot of fun with and now I miss.

K-Mart had "Lil' Gems" nail polish and cologne - the bottle had a square footprint, and two opposite corners were "sliced off" like facets.

Literally baby steps:  Pushing a shopping cart around at the grocery store instead of riding an electric buggy.  Entire grocery trip (solo), but I did grab a bench at the end of the register and rest before taking my stuff out to the car, but I refuse to feel bad about it.  I did more than I've been able to do for some time and I'm happy ( Read more... )

The gyn who sent me to the surgeon who did my hysterectomy mentioned that even though my ovaries are now gone, I may not need HRT and may not have the usual menopause symptoms.  OK, I can definitely go with that!  It's been about 6 weeks, and I don't know what to expect, but so far I seem to be just fine.  Aside from residual tenderness in the ( Read more... )
